Unwind
Center Announces Lyrics Competition
The
Unwind Center, in conjunction with the organizers of the Madras
Day celebrations is pleased to announce the Madras Day Lyrics Competition.
The contest, in connection with the Madras Day festivities (Aug
20-27), gives local talent the chance to write a song inspired by
their city. The lyrics can be on anything that is Chennai
like how our auto drivers need Red Cards or the sundal-kaadhal on
the Marina.
There are three prizes on offer and the winning song will be published
on the Madras Day website and in other prominent local media. There
will also be a prize giving ceremony.
Madras Day celebrates the founding of the city in 1639, through
a series of functions and events the organizers aim to commemorate
and celebrate the city's past and improve its future.

help you write your song, the Unwind Center will be holding two
