Open House – Games from Chennai – Aug. 21, 2016

Open House. display and play session of games of Chennai

Conducted by Kreeda in partnership with Amethyst

Date: Sunday, August 21, 2016

Time: 10.00 am – 6.00 pm

Location: The Folly, Amethyst, Express Estate, (Opposite Satyam Cinemas car park), Royapettah, Chennai 600014

For more information email us at info@kreedagames.com

For years now Kreeda has been involved in documenting the Graffiti Games carved in temples and old monuments. These graffiti tell us a lot about games, their variations, their spread and popularity as well as their antiquity. With Temples modernising, many old floors are being ripped up to be replaced by modern and convenient marble. We stand to lose a lot of our history with the loss of these boards. A display of the games and the monuments in which they were found is accompanied by a chance to actually play the same games. A fun and interesting event for young and old alike.
