Crafting along the Marina – Scarp book making for children
Open to children of classes 6 to 9. A walk taking in the statues on the Marina beach starts from Kannagi statue. Starts at 4.30 p.m. At the end of the walk children will get to do a scrapbook on their walking tour.

The kids will be explained the brief history of maps and cartography, its various uses and how to make a simple map of one’s neighborhood with the help of power point presentation.
After the workshop, the kids will be taken for a walk in the neighborhood and based on their observations, kids as a group,will be asked to create their own maps of the area with the various landmarks.
