A few catalysts of Madras Day are prepared to take a group of school students of North Chennai and of South Chennai to the other side of the city, they may not have seen at all.
That is, North Chennai groups tour a few South Chennai spots, and vice versa.
We have two Guides as volunteers who will lead the tour any morning on convenient dates.
Tour starts outside Fort St George.
Tour of North Madras covers – High Court, Armenian Church, First Line Beach heritage buildings, Royapuram Rail Station
Tour of South Madras covers – Marina beachside landmarks, Light House, San Thome Church and Sri Kapali Temple.
Each tour is for 90mins. One tour per school, independently.
Schools need to bring a group in their bus; teachers to accompany the group. Tour is by bus and free.
