V. R. Devika's The Aseema Trust for arts and education
and The Government Museum presented a series of workshops
'Know your Museum' for school children
Mad Bulls - Royal Enfield Club have organised a motorcycle
run across the city, touching important landmarks.
Rotary clubs organized talks on the city at two places
in the city.
ITC Park Sheraton presented a Madras Dinner at 'The
Residency' restaurant during the week
All India Radio broadcast a series of programmes dedicated
to the city on August 22, on its FM Rainbow channel
A small booklet (in English and in Tamil) on the heritage
of Madras was released to the commuters of autorickshaws,
through INODA, supported by Sri Krishna Sweets. The booklet
contained simple quiz on the city for the commuters to participate
and win prizes.
