A Journey to discover the bygone eras of History, the eclectic paradigms of Architecture and the Tangible heritage of Mylapore, one of Chennai’s main historic enclaves.
As per common belief, the area just doesn’t have Agraharam Houses, but also heritage houses with ne0-classical architecture and Corinthian columns, houses with an amalgamation of classical, Indian, and Muslim style characteristics and inferences, houses built before 1930’s with wrought iron balustrades and houses from 1930’s – 1940’s constructed in the Art Deco style with distinct geometry.
Understand and explore the eclectic architecture of the ancient settlement, which helps to establish a deep connection with the past and goes back to a time where the past exists with the present and insinuates itself through the architecture and the layers of historic building fabric of the area.
From 6.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m.
