Workshop: Let’s Explore the Stone Age Tamil Nadu – Aug. 26, 2018

An exciting workshop on the Stone Age in and around Chennai! Sign up to learn the story of human evolution, make and use stone tools, dig a prehistoric site, learn all about fossils, and paint just like a prehistoric artist. Conducted by experts in Indian prehistory. Pre-registration is required. Last date for signing up: 24th August.

Workshop: Knowing your library storytelling and narrative – Aug. 17, 2018

One of Chennai’s treasure trove ‘The Madras Literary Society’ Public Library in DPI complex, Nungambakkam is going to be the venue for a very interesting ‘Knowing your library storytelling and narrative workshop’ for children aged between 3 – 12 years.

Duration : 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

Fees: Rs.385/- per child (with certificates )

Workshop: Urban sketching workshop – Aug. 4, 2018

Organised by the School of Architecture and Planning (Anna University) Alumni Association (SAPAA).
MENTORS FOR WORKSHOP

SAP Alumni mentors will be architects Balaji Venugopal, Kavitha Prasad, Vennila T, Devakumar P, Cibi Balakrishnan and Yuva Raj

From 8 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
WORKSHOP STRUCTURE: Each Architect will have a group of five students to mentor for the sketch walk. They will add their insights and comments once the group finishes sketching.

ENGAGING WITH COMMUNITY: Sketches will be displayed around prominent places around Mylapore and at SAP.

Register by July 25, 2018. Fee Rs. 100.
